The IP may give credit for prior work experience. If an intern desires credit, he or she must complete an “Assessment of Prior Learning” form offering evidence that required competencies have been met. The “Assessment of Prior Learning” form will be evaluated by the IP director and a decision rendered before the student begins the program. Rotation projects and length may be modified based on an intern’s prior work experience and interest.
