The Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) requires a verification statement upon completion of the DI to indicate completion of supervised practice requirements and establish eligibility to write the registration examination for dietitians. The verification statement is given when the supervised practice and graduate degree have been successfully completed, and the final grade(s) is submitted. The DI Director will provide each graduate with an electronic Verification Statement. Five (5) original printed Verification Statements are available to graduating interns upon request. In addition, the DI files and keeps a copy of the verification statement indefinitely.
